You will discover the high mountain world step by step. And anyone has his own rythme : you have to find it.
Perhaps the Mont Blanc is your challenge or just a summit in your mountaineer life. Whatever its ascent is always something serious, and require to be planed in order to enjoy it.
To offer you the most chances of success in this ascent, I propose you some personnal stages.
You are enduring, used to walk and still have a strong experience in mountaineering; you would like to do the asecent in 2 dyas? Choose the normal route by the Arête des Bosses : 1st day, we will go to the Tête Rousse's hut; 2nd day, ascent of the Mont Blanc.
Your are beginner or don't know how will you react in high alitude? Take time to prepare and acclimate yourself. Do a 3 to 6 day stage. With this option, you wil have 90% of chances of success!
1sr Exemple :1st day, ice or snow school and walk to the Requin's hut; 2nd day, glacier trek on the Mer de Glace until the Cosmiques's hut; 3rd day, Cosmiques's redge ( nice small AD+ route, mixte), way down by the Aiguille du Midi's gondola, and start again for a small walk until the Tête Rousse's hut; 4th day ascent of the top and night in the Goûter's hut to cut in two the long way down; last day, end of the way down. Or, in 3 days : 1st day, ice or snow school; 2nd day, walk up to the Tête Rousse's hut; 3rd fay ascent of the summit.
2nd Exemple :1st day, we will walk to the Tête Rousse's hut; 2nd day, walk to the Goûter's hut and rest or ascent of the top in the afternoon; 3rd day, ascent or way back if the summit has been done before.
