Fasting is a old and efficient methode to cleanse the body and require new energies to eliminate all that it doesn't not need anymore, all that is ill-omened for it.
The use of fasting can be found in many traditions and religions for a long time ago. At first some nations have follow it for survival questions and after for well being and physical,psychic health.
By watching the wild animals in the nature, they are doing the same as soon as they are ill : it is a powerful recovery tool! In the Traditions, fast is generaly linked with the rituals because they are a big magic atmosphere around it :
For exemple the Amerindian use it during the vision's quest, as the Tibetan for certain ceremonies, or event for the catholics (what is the Lent?)
Why fasting ? :We are living in a world that produce and propose more food that we realy need. We eat more than we need and don't do enought physical activities. That's why the body stock the surplus and at least doesn\t manage to eliminate it anymore. During the fast time, it's a chance for it (and us) to lay down most of our heavy "luggages". The body lay down all which is heavy for it, then all that it doesn\t need anymore, then all which is disturbing for it, and at least all that makes it ill. Recovering!
Fasting, it is :
- To be free from our dependences : why do I eat at least?
- A all sens stimulation
- toxic and unnecessary elimination
- A help if you are in a doubt's time and if you want to take some decisions
- Having a clear view about oneself and the direction of my life
- Aopportunity to start a other way of life based on healty foundations
- To give oneself a new life
Why fasting and walking in mountain? :
- When you are walking in conscious, you take care of the breath. And this breath is also energy, Prana, Chi. Associated to the movement which is life, this Force speed up the natural process of detoxication.
- To be a creator in this recovering movement
- To take care of the complete body. Which will be stable during this no food periode. By walking, I increase the blood's flux which is at the source of the elimination process and don't tire the system and don't decrease the muscles.
- To be fed by a natural, protected, wild and full of energy's environnement .
- To test by yourself that fasting doesn\t not mean exhausting but regeneration! Remember : Gandhi was the first one to practice fast and walk and during many months, he crosed his country whitout eating something else but water with limon and honey.
